✨ Why This Seminar Matters

Shame is the silent force behind striving, performance, fear, anger, addictions, and feelings of failure. It is rarely spoken about, yet it quietly shapes so much of our lives, families, churches, and even culture.

The very first emotion Adam and Eve experienced after sin was shame. Like them, we often cover our shame with “fig leaves” 🍁 — hiding, striving, pleasing others, or pretending everything is fine. No wonder many of us grow weary, struggling to live the joyful and victorious Christian life.

🙌 My Testimony

About 18 years ago, I was considered a “mature” Christian when I attended a seminar on shame. To my surprise, God revealed deep layers of shame that had taken root in me — distorting my emotions, thoughts, actions, and even how I saw Him.

As He began to tear down that stronghold, I realised shame is often the hidden driver behind our fears, performance, people‑pleasing, and self‑dislike. Sometimes, it even distorts the way we see God, making it hard to receive His perfect love that casts out fear.

That encounter changed me. And I knew I had to share what I had received.

There is a saying: “Shamed people shame people.” The wounds we carry often spill over into the lives of others. But God’s promise is restoration — fruitfulness, dignity, and freedom.
